 Discovery and study of Lufengpithecus fossils by Professor XU Qinghua

ABSTRACT: Paleoanthropologist, Professor XU Qinghua, graduated from Department of Anthropology, Fudan University, and worked for Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, China Academy of Science for the rest of his life. His team discovered abundant Lufengpithecus fossils from Yunnan after hard field work. Studies on the Lufengpithecus fossils increased our knowledge about the evolution of early Hominidae.

徐庆华先生对禄丰古猿头骨发现和研究

摘要：古人类学家徐庆华先生毕业于复旦大学人类学专业，在中国科学院古脊椎动物和古人类研究所工作了一生。他带领的小组在通过辛勤的田野调查，在云南发现了禄丰古猿的丰富化石。对禄丰古猿的大量研究填补了早期人科动物进化史研究中的空白。
