 Linguistic information structure and evolution of the phoneme weights of Tibeto-Burman

Abstract: The previous studies on the phoneme weights were mostly based on the statistics of the texts. However, few languages have writings, and therefore, certain studies can only be carried out among those few written languages. This is a limitation of the field. During the past several years of research, we developed a method of phoneme weight study based on vocabulary. Thus, such study can be carried out for every language. Here we will have Tibeto-Burman as an example.

基于藏缅语音位负担的语言信息结构和演化研究

摘要：过去对音位负担量的研究主要是通过大文本的计算，由于世界上大多数语言没有文字，因此，研究只能在个别有文字的语言中进行，这无疑很大地限制了这一领域的发展。根据多年的研究，我们发展了一种计算词汇层面音位负担量的方法，从而可以对每一种语言进行信息量和结构的研究。下面以藏缅语为例，介绍一下音位负担量、信息量和结构的一些基本特性。
