 New Advances in Evolutionary Linguistics

Abstract: This essay summarizes some new advances in evolutionary linguistics. It pursue the highly controversial subjects of discussion: the emergence of language in the human species; on universal grammar and language universals; the nature of “biolinguistics”, and the quantitative methods in historical linguistics. We must take an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating contributions from genetics, molecular anthropology, archaeology , computational science, and cognitive neuroscience in the perspective on our studies.

演化语言学的新进展

摘要：本文简要评述演化语言学的一些新进展。讨论的主要争议问题是：语言的起源，关于语言共性和普遍语法，从生物语言学角度看人类的语言机能，历史语言学的计算和分类方法及“超级语系”，“农作—语言扩散假说”。我们应该把遗传学、分子人类学、考古学、计算机科学和认知神经科学的探索结合起来，从而不断推进演化语言学的发展。
