 Ancient languages in the area of Yangtze River, the Yellow River, and South China

ABSTRACT: During the last glacial age, the languages in northern China migrated to the south, and contacted with the southern languages in southern China. After the last glacial age, the early Altaic family formed to the north of the Yin Mountains, and turned into the modern Altaic family about five to six thousand years ago. Subsequently, Altaic dialects arrived in the Japanese Archipelago. About eight to nine thousand years ago, the proto-Sino-Tibetan language moved northwards to the area of Yellow and Huai Rivers, and formed the early Sino-Tibetan languages. Early Austronesian and Austro-Asiatic languages distributed in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and South China. The Austronesian arrived in Taiwan about five thousand years ago. About three to four thousand years ago, the Austro-Asiatic moved southward, and arrived in Southeast Asia and South Asia two thousand years ago.

长江黄河流域和华南地区的古代语言

摘要：末次冰期期间，中国北方语言南下，与南方语言在华南地区接触。末次冰期结束后阴山以北形成早期的阿尔泰语系，五六千年前形成今天所说的阿尔泰语系，其方言进入日本列岛。八九千年前汉藏语北上淮河和黄河流域形成早期的汉藏语。早期的南岛、南亚语分布于长江中游和华南地区。南岛语五千多年前进入台湾。三四千多年前南亚语南下，两千年前向东南亚和南亚次大陆迁移。
